Enjoy Fwssr WITH FORT WORTH PRIDE IT’S TIME TO ENJOY FWSSR CONCOURSE & PUBLIC SPACES The Coliseum’s concourse and public spaces now shine like never before. Renovated flooring, refreshed ceilings and energy-efficient lighting create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The gathering areas have been reimagined for better flow and comfort, making every visit more enjoyable. UPGRADED RESTROOMS Even the little details make a big difference. The Coliseum’s restrooms have been fully modernized with upgraded plumbing fixtures, improved layouts, and enhanced accessibility, ensuring comfort for every guest. These updates keep lines moving, make family visits easier, and let you focus on the fun, not the facilities. EXTERIOR ENHANCEMENTS The Coliseum’s exterior has been refreshed to welcome guests with Fort Worth pride. Historic architectural elements have been carefully restored, while a new entrance and improved sight lines create a bright, inviting first impression. These updates honor the building’s legacy while making it easier than ever to step inside and enjoy the Stock Show experience. Rooted in Fort Worth pride and nearly a century of Stock Show tradition, the Will Rogers Coliseum underwent a renovation this year focused on critical infrastructure and behind-the-scenes improvements. Upgraded HVAC and electrical systems, new fire safety measures, and reimagined functional spaces ensure the Coliseum remains safe, comfortable, and versatile for exhibitors, competitors and guests alike. There’s no better way to introduce kids to life on the ranch or to have fun with the family than through unforgettable, interactive experiences. PETTING ZOO / PONY RIDES Cuddle baby goats, feed the chickens, and ride gentle ponies around the pen. Little ones will love the opportunity to see animals up close in a safe, fun environment. At Doorways to Agriculture presented by Texas Farm Bureau, you can experience it firsthand! Play interactive games, spin cotton, snap photos, and discover how farmers and ranchers impact your everyday life. Don’t forget your camera — these are memories you’ll want to capture forever! CARNIVAL MIDWAY KIDS GONE WILD MOO-SEUM EXPERIENCE Step right up! Besides livestock, the Carnival / Midway is one of the oldest and most legendary features of the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo. Offering acres of excitement for kids of all ages, you and your family will enjoy classic features like Ferris Wheels, a mega-drop and plenty of cute rides for the little ones. There‘s that classic carnival food, too. Please note that the Carnival Midway may close or experience delayed openings due to inclement weather. Doors open at 11 a.m. on Feb. 1, and the adventure begins! This free event is the perfect destination for families eager to introduce their children to the wonders of nature, and let’s be honest, mom and dad might be a little “wowed,” too. Young explorers will encounter a variety of animals, from snakes to insects, while learning how these creatures contribute to the world around them. Hands-on fun abounds with crafts, digging in the dirt and the event’s highlight, fishing in the tank! Your grounds admission gets you access to three amazing Fort Worth museums, where you can enjoy their alwaysengaging exhibitions and see works from the Stock Show’s Art Contest. Explore the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, the Cattle Raisers Museum, and the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame all included with your admission! Half of rodeo ticket proceeds benefit the Careity Foundation. A total of $220,000 has been donated since 2021. MILITARY APPRECIATION DAY – FEB 2 Thanks to Hillwood, A Perot Company, retired and active-duty military members and their immediate family receive free gallery seating at the PRORODEO Tournament with a valid I.D. In 2025, 3,037 complimentary rodeo tickets were provided. COOK CHILDREN’S DAY – FEB. 4 This day celebrates the smallest patients with the biggest hearts. Half of rodeo ticket proceeds benefit Cook Children’s Hospital. Since 2014 a total of $432,275 has been provided. Wear college logoed items to receive free general admission. Contestants from the PRCA and WPRA take center stage across eight action-packed events, competing for their share of $1.5 million in prize money. Be there Opening Night as the tone is set for a tournament filled with drama, grit and championship moments. FWSSR PRORODEO ROOKIE RALLY – JAN. 22 FWSSR will host its first-ever PRORODEO Rookie Rally, open to athletes who have filed their professional association permits and compete with full membership status. A total of $100,000 is up for grabs. Each event winner will qualify for the FWSSR PRORODEO Tournament. The Rookie Rally gives first-year members a chance to chart their path toward rodeo stardom, while earnings here also improve their chances of winning the Resistol Rookie of the Year award in their events. INAUGURAL FWSSR COLLEGE RODEO – FEB. 2-4 More than 400 contestants from the Lonestar Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association will compete in the Inaugural FWSSR College Rodeo finals on Feb. 4.
